British American Tobacco (BAT or BTI on American Stock Exchange) is placed on the third place among the largest world companies and it’s headquarter is placed in the heart of England, in London. It is famed by producing cigarettes of the premium tobacco (855 billions) and that are sold on markets of more180 than countries.

The appearance of smoking tobaccos under this name begins in 1902 when the UK’s Imperial Tobacco Company and the American Tobacco Company joined together and created the British American Tobacco and leaded by James ‘Buck’ Duke. The joined tobacco companies agreed on selling the cigarettes outside the UK and United States. The place for cigarette realization becomes entire Europe and far from its boundaries. At present time British American Tobacco has residence important states across Africa, Asia, Latin America and continental Europe. British American Tobacco is a world stated trademark developed on resisting to time experience.

British American Tobacco also has own limited number of cigarette brands that are realized on home tobacco market, that as: Jockey Club (Argentina), Stradbroke (Australia), du Maurier (Canada), North State (Finland), HB (Germany), Sopianae (Hungary), Wills (India), Ardath (Indonesia), Carrolls (Ireland), Boots (Mexico), Jan III Sobieski (Poland), Yava Gold (Russia), Courtleigh (South Africa), Parisienne (Switzerland), GPC (United States) and Xon (Uzbekistan).

In the June of the 2006, between two leading tobacco companies Reynolds’s Tobacco and British American Tobacco was established an agreement of producing Camel cigarettes in Sweden. This partnership is the evidence of the importance of BAT on the tobacco worldwide markets. The original “Camel” cigarette will be tested on the smoking trade of Portland and Austin.

In 2008 BAT acquired Turkey’s state-owned cigarette maker Tekel. In July 2008, BAT acquired the cigarette and snus operations of the Scandinavian Tobacco Company. In 2009 BAT acquired Indonesia’s tobacco industry Bentoel Group. BAT acquires Bentoel from Rajawali Group and other shareholders an 85% stake. In 2010, Bentoel Group was became a member of BAT.
